Rahma Fadel
Today, I conducted a dialogue with a distinguished representative of science and scholars, Dr. Muhammad Abdel-Hakim Al-Feki, Doctor of Literature and Criticism at Zagazig University, Faculty of Islamic Studies for Girls in Zagazig
Whereas we call him a distinguished scholar from his frequent travels and wandering to cast knowledge and receive knowledge, he made him a base in his life, “The best of you is to learn and teach knowledge.” Let us strive together to see how the dialogue took place today.
Q / Dr. Muhammad Al-Fiqi, we would like to be honored to get to know you?
C / Name: - Muhammad Abdul-Hakim Muhammad Al-Feki.
His birth: - He was born in the Minya al-Qamh district in the Sharkia governorate.
Place of residence: - He resides in the center of Zagazig, Sharkia Governorate.
Age: -52 years old.
Whereas, he obtained a BA in Arabic language in the age of 1989, and he obtained a master’s degree in 1995, and he obtained a doctorate in 1999, where he was appointed to the College of Islamic and Arabic Studies for Boys in the Department of Literature and Criticism in 2000, and he obtained an assistant professor in 2012.
He works in the field of research to obtain a professorship in the Department of Literature and Criticism, the Division of Arabic Language for Girls in Zagazig, as he teaches all the subjects of the Arabic Language Division from literary texts, history of literature, modern and ancient literary criticism, and this is all that is related to the Department of Literature.
Q / Dr. Muhammad, we would like to get to know who you are the scientific march until you reached this position?
A / Since he began his speech that achieving success is a matter of hardship, but whoever aspires to something, he reaches it, he mentioned the introduction of the reasons, and whoever aspires to reach something, he arrives no matter what all circumstances are gathered around him, he was hoping to obtain the title of doctorate,
After I graduated from high school, he was not discouraged, but he tried to reach this title with diligence and diligence
He obtained his bachelors degree with a very good grade with honors, and he began to work and receive knowledge until he reached what he wanted, and his motive until he reached this position was knowledge and excellence.
Q / Dr. Muhammad, what was the character that was the reason for your superiority?
A: As my uncle, Prof. Dr. Hussein Al-Feki, a doctor at the College of Arabic Language for Boys in Zagazig, said that he had set an example in his life.
Q / Dr. Muhammad, what is your opinion of colloquial poetry recited at this time, and what is the difference between it and pre-Islamic poetry?
A / As he began his speech on pre-Islamic poetry, it was based on eminence and majesty in style, as the pre-Islamic poet had the poetic faculty and said poetry without having any monetary restrictions, so this criticism that was present in this era is self-criticism and not criticism of the poetry itself And he mentioned an example such as the criticism of the poet Al-Nabigha Al-Dhabyani about some of the poets in Souk Okaz, as poets from many countries flock to him, as he used to judge his poetry as to its quality or dress.
Then I move on to talk about general poetry and he mentioned colloquial poetry that it is not met in this era, some general poets do not have the poetic queen and some of them do not belong to poetry in connection to support the presence of the poetic queen in him,
Then after that the distinction between free verse and pre-Islamic poetry, where it was mentioned that pre-Islamic poetry is based on the vertical poem, which is its wealth and rhyming.
Before concluding the conversation, we would like to say that we have enjoyed talking with this distinguished scholar in the literature and criticism section of the Arabic language division.
Q / In the end, we would like you to present a correction or a speech to those who deliver vernacular poetry?
A / Firstly, he advised young people to fear God Almighty and to observe God Almighty in their work and adhere to the book of God and preserve the Arabic language and be proud that it is his language because it is the language of the Holy Qur’an,
Secondly, it seemed to recommend that young people receive knowledge because the one who walks through it is the winner and the successful, even if he suffers a lot because God does not waste the reward of the best deed.
Third, because colloquial poetry is not called poetry, but rather a prose poem, poetry is not called poetry unless it is measured and rhymed.
