FORGETTING THAT KILLS
Brixhilda Dede
I didn't give you my soul to trample on,
In great loves I believe.
I gave you the end without thinking,
With memories, tomorrow I will live.
After love, no hail cools,
But gratitude and respect.
I would take your last thought with me.
You forgive the sky for the sweetness.
Don't make me die without dying! Don't take my living breath.
Make some room for love,
To sleep comfortably in its bed.
I don't ask you to stay with difficulty, In a relationship where trust is shaken.
Thus you kill the living love inside me.
You kill my light, you lose the shine.
Stay as you can, sensitive form. As a silent witness within thought,
Or as courage in ancient times. If you are true, come out on my path,
We give full meaning to life.
